The Burlingame Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Monta Vista Matadors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burlingame will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Burlingame is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Ann Sobrato with a sharp 3-0 win.

Burlingame walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-12, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Monta Vista made easy work of Lincoln on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Matadors haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Monta Vista's win bumped their record up to 20-13. As for Burlingame, their victory bumped their record up to 19-13.
