Baseball Recap: Fairview Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Fairview extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-4. They never let the Brooklyn Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-3 on Monday.

Burke Lowry made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Lowry was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2025.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cal Reis, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Fairview's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Carter Reagan, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

As for Brooklyn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. The matchup marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

On Brooklyn's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bentley Cox, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Nathan Phillips also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview will welcome Valley Forge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brooklyn, they will host Harvey at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
