If Taravella wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Stoneman Douglas, they should've done a better job of containing Grace Pulsifer. The Eagles put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Pulsifer, who had 19 assists and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-16.

The victory made it two in a row for Stoneman Douglas and bumps their season record up to 8-1. As for Taravella, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stoneman Douglas will venture away from home to take on Pompano Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Taravella, they will head out to square off against Flanagan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
