Eagle Rock has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lincoln recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 2:15 p.m. Eagle Rock is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
Last Friday, Eagle Rock made easy work of Franklin and carried off a 12-2 victory. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Marcella Terrazas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Melissa Terrazas, who went 2-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Julissa Jimenez also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Marshall hit Lincoln with a four-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers fell just short of the Barristers by a score of 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one run.
Monica Amaya and Gladys Barajas stepped up to the plate in a big way. Amaya got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI, while Barajas got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jayce Toc, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs.
Eagle Rock pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Eagle Rock has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lincoln struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Eagle Rock's way against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Eagle Rock made off with a 17-4 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
