Softball Recap: Marion County Comes Up Short

Marion County was the 15-14 winner over South Lamar when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Marion County Red Raiders took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Lamar Stallions on Tuesday.

Marion County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Marion County has already played their next match (against Brilliant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for South Lamar, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 defeat against Gordo on the 13th.
