Soccer Game Preview: Blacksburg vs. Cave Spring + How To Watch

The Blacksburg Bruins will head out to square off against the Cave Spring Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cave Spring will be up against a hot Blacksburg team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Bruins blew past Salem 4-1 on Friday. Given Blacksburg's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Salem are ranked 34th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Cave Spring kept a clean sheet against Christiansburg on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Blue Demons. Cave Spring haven't had any issues with Christiansburg recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Blacksburg's record now sits at 10-1-1. As for Cave Spring, their record is now 14-0.

Blacksburg couldn't quite get it done against Cave Spring when the teams last played back in April as they fell 3-1. Can the Bruins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
