Recap: Crestview Knights vs. Parkway Panthers
The Crestview Knights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They really took it to Parkway for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-34 win at home. Fans of Crestview have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Crestview can attribute much of their success to Cali Gregory, who scored 22 points along with 6 assists. The matchup was Gregory's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myia Etzler, who scored 9 points along with 9 rebounds.
Crestview's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Parkway, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestview will take on St. Henry at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Parkway, they will head out on the road to face off against New Knoxville at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th.
