Volleyball Recap: Green Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Green challenged Glenwood on Thursday. The Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 11-25, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Green still got an impressive performance from Jayden Neal, who had 20 digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Neal is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game. Another player making a difference was Baylee Bridges, who had eight digs.

Green's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Glenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Green will head out to square off against Western at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenwood, they will face off against Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
