Basketball Recap: Delta Charter Comes Up Short

Delta Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a blow against the Delhi Bears, falling 64-22. The Storm were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.

Jatavis Hester had an outrageously good game for Delhi as he went 10-for-14 on his way to 20 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Hester a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Edgerin Banks, who went 5-for-11 en route to 11 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Delta Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Delhi, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-13.

As of now, neither Delta Charter nor Delhi have any future games scheduled.
