Softball Recap: Canajoharie Comes Up Short

Canajoharie blew Northville out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Northville got their revenge. The Cougars fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered since April 21st.

This is the second loss in a row for Canajoharie and nudges their season record down to 2-11. As for Northville, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Canajoharie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville on the 13th. As for Northville, they will take on Middleburgh at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
