Basketball Recap: Augusta Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Alleluia Community on Friday, Augusta Christian came back down to earth. The Augusta Christian Lions were outmatched by the First Baptist School Hurricanes and fell 55-27. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Augusta Christian now has a losing record at 8-9. As for First Baptist School, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Augusta Christian will square off against Northside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Augusta Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for First Baptist School, they will challenge Palmetto Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
