Soccer Recap: Deforest Plays Ranked Contest

DeForest faced Brookfield East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Neither the Norskies nor the Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept DeForest happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 26th.

With that draw, DeForest's record moves to 12-1-4. As for Brookfield East, they moved theirs to 11-0-3.

Looking ahead, DeForest will challenge Beaver Dam at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. DeForest are facing Beaver Dam at the right time seeing as Beaver Dam are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Brookfield East, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Wauwatosa West on the 14th.
