Soccer Recap: Carter-Riverside Comes Up Short

Carter-Riverside lost against Southwest back in March of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Carter-Riverside Eagles lost 5-2 to the Southwest Raiders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josue Trevino and Juan Lopez scored both of Carter-Riverside's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Carter-Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Southwest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6-2.

Carter-Riverside will square off against Western Hills at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Hills will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Carter-Riverside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southwest, they will take on Dunbar at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
