Football Recap: Decatur Central Hawks vs. Avon Orioles

Decatur Central kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Avon Orioles by a score of 30-28. Despite 60 more yards than the Orioles, the Hawks couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Decatur Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bo Polston, who rushed for 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Hunter Harvey, who rushed for 37 yards and one score.
