Softball Recap: Columbus International Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Columbus International faced off against East on Wednesday. The Lions came up short against the Tigers, falling 28-16. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 25-10.

Columbus International has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for East, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Columbus International does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East, they will venture away from home to take on River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
