Munford fell victim to Northpoint Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Trojans. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Munford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriel Jones, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Munford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Northpoint Christian, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Munford Cougars challenge Brighton Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Munford will need to watch out since Brighton has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Northpoint Christian, they will face off against Evangelical Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
