Softball Recap: Southeastern Comes Up Short

Southeastern and Ranburne squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Southeastern had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 13-2.

Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 22-14. As for Ranburne, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-17 record this season.

Southeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ranburne, they have already played their next contest, a 7-3 loss against Isabella on the 6th.
