Softball Recap: Nelson County Takes a Loss

Nelson County fell victim to Appomattox County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 13-0 to the Raiders. The defeat leaves the Governors still looking for their first win of the season.

Nelson County's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Appomattox County, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Nelson County and Appomattox County will both be playing Gretna the next time they take the field. The Raiders will host the Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Governors will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
