Football Recap: Penns Grove Takes a Loss

Penns Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Delran Bears. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Bears are ranked 30th).

Penns Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Delran, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Penns Grove will challenge Woodbury at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Delran, they will take on Haddon Heights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
