Basketball Recap: Elton Comes Up Short

Elton lost against Sacred Heart back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Elton Indians were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to the Sacred Heart Trojans.

Elton's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Elton has already played their next contest, a 51-47 defeat against Ascension Catholic on the 28th. As for Sacred Heart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-48 loss against Lacassine on the 28th.
