Basketball Recap: Northeast's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Northeast unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. The contest between them and Central DeWitt didn't end well, with the Northeast Rebels falling 80-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (64), the Rebels still had to take the loss.

Northeast's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3. As for Central DeWitt, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-8.

Northeast has already played their next matchup (against Central Clinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Central DeWitt will square off against Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central DeWitt is facing Clinton at the right time seeing as Clinton is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
