Basketball Game Preview: Victory Christian Vikings vs. Community Christian Academy Ambassadors

The Victory Christian Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Community Christian Academy Ambassadors at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Back in December of 2024, Victory Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Sumter Christian and fell 44-41. The matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Community Christian Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Grace Christian 81-53. The Ambassadors pushed the score to 62-36 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had little chance of recovering from.

Community Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Colton Betosky, who posted 25 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Quarles, who earned 16 points.

The victory (which was Community Christian Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 4-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Victory Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Victory Christian lost to Community Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 62-47 margin in their previous meeting back in November of 2024.
