Soccer Game Preview: Blazer vs. Russell + Official Tickets

The Blazer Tomcats will challenge the Russell Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Blazer made easy work of Mason County and carried off a 5-2 victory.

Meanwhile, Russell kept a clean sheet against Boyd County on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Lions. Considering Russell have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Russell has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five matches. As for Blazer, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8-3.

Blazer beat Russell by a goal in their previous meeting back in September, winning 1-0. Do the Tomcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
