Volleyball Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Comes Up Short

Illinois Math & Science Academy was the 2-0 winner over Parkview Christian Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17.

Parkview Christian Academy was led to victory by Lilah Carlyle and Abigail Carlyle. Lilah had four digs and four aces, while Abigail had. Those four aces gave Lilah a new career-high.

Illinois Math & Science Academy now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Parkview Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Illinois Math & Science Academy will challenge LaMoille at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkview Christian Academy, they will take on Mooseheart at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
