Soccer Recap: Valparaiso Takes a Loss

Valparaiso lost against Homestead back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Spartans. Valparaiso have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Anissa Cespedes, which was the first she's scored this season.

Valparaiso's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Homestead, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Valparaiso has already played their next match, a 6-0 win against La Porte on the 26th. As for Homestead, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Vernon at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
