Baseball Recap: Windham Comes Up Short

Windham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-4 back in April.

Francisco Alvarado was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Lyman Memorial, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Windham has already played their next contest (against Wheeler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lyman Memorial, they have also already played their next matchup, an 18-7 loss against Bacon Academy on the 8th.
