Basketball Game Preview: Poquoson Islanders vs. Jamestown Eagles

Poquoson is on a four-game streak of home losses, Jamestown a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Poquoson Islanders will host the Jamestown Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Saturday, Poquoson ended up a good deal behind Grafton and lost 62-48.

Meanwhile, Jamestown was beaten by New Kent 84-55 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Trojans are ranked 26th).
