The Jackson Ironman/Ironladies will head out to challenge the Sheridan Generals at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jackson lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Chillicothe, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Ironman/Ironladies' pitcher stepped up to hand the Cavaliers a 12-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Ironman/Ironladies considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Serenity Taylor tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, KJ Worsham and Daycee Howard did most of the damage at the plate: Worsham went 2-for-3 with five RBI and one run, while Howard went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Jackson has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Sheridan, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4.
