London entered their tilt with Taft on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Taft Greyhounds with a sharp 56-36 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-49 two weeks ago.

Despite the defeat, Taft saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Krista Amaya went 6 of 12 on her way to 14 points and six steals. Amaya is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Aliana Torres was another key player, putting up 12 points.

London has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Taft, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.

London wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-19 victory against Odem on the 10th. As for Taft, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-26 loss against West Oso on the 10th.
