Atkinson County has gone 8-2 against Irwin County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Atkinson County Rebels will head out on the road to square off against the Irwin County Indians at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Atkinson County comes in on three and Irwin County on eight.

Atkinson County's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Echols County by a score of 2-0. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Wildcats are ranked 337th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kayleen Cuello and Ingrid Delgado scored both of Atkinson County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Irwin County made easy work of Lanier County on Thursday and carried off a 4-1 victory. Considering the Indians have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Atkinson County pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four contests. As for Irwin County, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
