Softball Recap: Rangeley Lakes Comes Up Short

Rangeley Lakes was the 19-4 winner over Vinalhaven when they last played one another back in May of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Lakers came up short against the Vikings on Tuesday, falling 20-1.

Rangeley Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Vinalhaven, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Rangeley Lakes by a score of 24-1 later that day.
