Soccer Game Preview: Dominion vs. Loudoun Valley

The Dominion Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Loudoun Valley Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dominion is looking for their season's first win.

Dominion had taken Loudoun County down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Captains. While losing is never fun, Dominion can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while Loudoun County are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Loudoun Valley was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They and Tuscarora finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

Loudoun Valley's draw gives them a new season record of 3-2-2. As for Dominion, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1.

Dominion might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Loudoun Valley in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
