Basketball Recap: Lakeland Regional Takes a Loss

Lakeland Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Newton Braves, falling 67-35. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Lakeland Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Newton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Lakeland Regional will venture away from home to face off against Bergen Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newton, they will head out on the road to take on Whippany Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
