Soccer Game Preview: Whitnall vs. New Berlin Eisenhower

The Whitnall Falcons will face off against the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Whitnall sitting on three straight wins and New Berlin Eisenhower on five.

Whitnall is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-3 margin over Pius XI Catholic. The result was nothing new for Whitnall, who have now won 13 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Pius XI Catholic with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mark McShane (3), Alban Carka (2), Daniel Sanchez (2), and Mason Jaklich.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but New Berlin Eisenhower ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over St. Anthony. Given New Berlin Eisenhower's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while St. Anthony are ranked 118th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

New Berlin Eisenhower's win bumped their record up to 17-4-3. As for Whitnall, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3-2.
