Softball Recap: Dunwoody Wildcats vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles
Dunwoody suffered their biggest defeat since August 14th on Thursday. They came up short against the Woodward Academy War Eagles, falling 13-6. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the War Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August.
Brooke Parkes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Worley, who went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
Dunwoody has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Woodward Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
