The Kit Carson Wildcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Kiowa with a sharp 41-21 win on Saturday. That looming 41-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Kit Carson yet this season.
Brennan Framel was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was O'Shea Farmer, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Kit Carson's win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Kiowa, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5.
Kit Carson will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wiley at 3:00 p.m. As for Kiowa, they will head out on the road to face off against Deer Trail at 7:01 p.m. on Thursday.
