Basketball Game Preview: Plano Reapers vs. Woodstock Blue Streaks

The Plano Reapers will head out on the road to face off against the Woodstock Blue Streaks at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Plano knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Woodstock likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Plano beat Morris 68-56.

Meanwhile, Woodstock posted their closest victory since January 10, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Crystal Lake Central out 44-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Streaks.

Woodstock is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Plano, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Plano came up short against Woodstock in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 62-57. Can Plano avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
