Baseball Recap: Bellevue Comes Up Short

Bellevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to the Perrin-Whitt Pirates, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 24-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bellevue saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Jones, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Perrin-Whitt, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

While Bellevue had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
