Volleyball Recap: Knoxville Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Knoxville Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Knoxville A Ambassadors by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Knights were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Ambassadors, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

While Knoxville Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Knoxville A scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19.

Savanah Dunham paced Knoxville Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Dunham got some help from Lily Warren and her 18 assists. Dunham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Knoxville Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Knoxville A, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Knoxville Christian has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 11th. As for Knoxville A, they will square off against First Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Ambassadors are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
