Deary is 10-0 against Highland since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Deary Mustangs will host the Highland Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Deary's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Highland's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Deary will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Kendrick, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Deary snuck past Kendrick with a 40-34 win on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Highland entered their tilt with Clearwater Valley on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 34-28 W over the Rams.

Deary better keep an eye on Kylee Beck. She was instrumental in Highland's win, almost dropping a triple-double on 13 points, 24 boards, and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Beck a new career-high.

Highland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Highland is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points per game. As for Deary, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Deary beat Highland 43-31 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Deary repeat their success, or does Highland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
