Basketball Recap: Keyport Takes a Loss

Keyport was the 30-26 winner over Keansburg when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Keyport Raiders lost 42-20 to the Keansburg Titans on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Raiders have suffered against the Titans since February 25, 2021.

Keyport's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-6. As for Keansburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Keyport will take on Lakewood at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Keansburg has already played their next match (against Point Pleasant Beach), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
