Soccer Recap: Clewiston Plays to a Tie

Clewiston and Lake Placid combined for 13 shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive six total goals scored. Neither the Clewiston Tigers nor the Lake Placid Dragons could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The outcome might've been different if Wisly Menendez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

He and Jose Ascencio scored all three of Clewiston's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Clewiston's draw gives them a new season record of 3-4-2. As for Lake Placid, they moved theirs to 2-5-2.
