Oakdale is 9-1 against Manteca since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Oakdale 3.6, Manteca 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Meanwhile, Manteca unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Vintage by a score of 6-5.

Manteca also got a good showing from Riley Ward, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Ward has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bella Cooper was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lauren Moncada, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Manteca's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Oakdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.
