Softball Recap: Westbrook Comes Up Short

Westbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 11-7 to the Wheeler Lions.

Westbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Wheeler, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Westbrook will head out to challenge Morgan at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hukies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.06 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wheeler, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Griswold at 4:00 p.m.
