Soccer Recap: Branford Takes a Loss

Branford managed to keep up with Lauralton Hall until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Hornets came up short against the Crusaders, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lauralton Hall this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in September.

This is the second loss in a row for Branford and nudges their season record down to 4-9-1. As for Lauralton Hall, they moved to 7-5-1 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Branford will face off against East Haven at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lauralton Hall, they will take on Career-Hillhouse at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
