Corry had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Titusville Rockets to the tune of 49-10. The Beavers pushed the score to 49-3 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rockets cut but never quite recovered from.

Corry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucas Baker, who threw for 115 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Those three passing touchdowns gave Baker a new career-high. Keaton Frisina also helped with three touchdowns in total.

Corry has already played their next contest, a 47-0 win against Warren on the 29th. As for Titusville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-55 loss against Girard on the 29th.
