Sycamore kept up with Fairview until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Yellowjackets never let the War Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Fairview, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Sycamore with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Scout Akens, Lilia Calvillo, and Maleah Martinez.

The win was the third in a row for Fairview, bringing their record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three games. As for Sycamore, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Fairview will face off against Kirkwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sycamore, they will head out to square off against Portland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
