            It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pee Dee Academy had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  51-27 margin over the Spartanburg Day Griffins. This was payback for the Golden Eagles, who suffered  a  77-40  loss the last time these two teams met.

The  match was  Richardson's third in a row with at least 20  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ethan Carroll, who  made all 5  shots he took for 12  points.
The  victory made it two in a row for Pee Dee Academy and  bumps their season record up to 18-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Spartanburg Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
 Pee Dee Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  46-45  win against Hilton Head Prep on the 22nd. Spartanburg Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
