Volleyball Game Preview: Birchwood Bobcats vs. Clayton Bears

The Birchwood Bobcats will face off against the Clayton Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lac Courte Oreilles came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Birchwood, but Alyssa Holt wouldn't allow it. The Bobcats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eagles 3-2 for which the team can thank Holt, who had 16 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Birchwood got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 18-25, 25-22, 24-26, 15-10.

Clayton not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 29th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Siren as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.

Clayton's record now sits at 10-20. As for Birchwood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-19.
