Volleyball Recap: Dyersburg Comes Up Short

If Dyersburg was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Westview on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Obion County Rebels on Tuesday. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 25-0.

Dyersburg has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Obion County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dyersburg will welcome Halls at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Obion County, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Westview at 5:00 p.m.
